Softball
Bat barrel must be no more than 2 1/4" in diameter and say "softball approved". Can't be lighter than -13.
Metal spikes are not allowed.
Batting helmets must have a face mask on it.
Baseball
9-12 year olds = 2 1/4" maximum bat barrel.
No metal spikes.
13 year olds = Bat no lighter than -8.5 weight differential. Must have the USSSA sticker on it or be a wood bat.
Metal spikes are allowed.
14 year olds = Bats no lighter than -5 weight differential.
Must have the USSSA sticker on it or be a wood bat.
Metal spikes are allowed.
15 year olds = Bats must be -3 weight differential.
Must be a BBCOR bat or be a wood bat.
Metal spikes are allowed.
